June Update from Kolebas

Jason and Cindy and their girls arrived safely in Beijing and jumped right in with sight seeing, visiting the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City. They have seen pandas and yaks, encountered unique smells and different bathrooms. A favorite experience is the variety of foods they have tried!

This photo is a view from their hostel in Kang Ding in the Sichuan Province. It is 2700 meters above sea level on the edge of what was traditionally Tibet. This is over twice as high as our altitude in Cochrane!

Jason is liking the slower pace in Kang Ding after experiencing the busyness of Beijing.

They are currently on a 4-day trek backpacking in the mountains near Kang Ding.
