WHAT IS IT?
Elevate is for youth in grades 7-12 and it’s all about helping our emerging generation discover
their gifting, and step into places of leadership throughout the church.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
- Youth don’t need entertainment; they need empowerment. They are not just the future
Church—they are the Church now. When young people are trusted with real
responsibility, faith shifts from passive attendance to purposeful participation. - Apprenticeship is about discipleship through serving together—not just teaching skills
but shaping hearts for Christ. - When trusted with responsibility in relational environments, young people don’t just show
up - they rise up.
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?
- November 17 – Launch. Meet your mentor and plan your serving schedule.
- January 19 - Connect/Train. Build relationship and be equipped.
- March 16 - Connect/Train. Build relationship and be equipped.
- June 1 - Celebrate/Connect. Share and celebrate together.
- Serving alongside your mentor once a month.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
- Fill out the application form before November 11.
- Attend the launch night on November 17. This will be the first time youth connect with their mentor.
- We will hold connection and training nights 3 times over the course of the apprenticeship (between November and June).
- Serving once a month with your mentor in a ministry role.
