Ken grew up in Saskatchewan on a farm near Lampman Saskatchewan and gave his
life to Christ at 7 years old when attending Kenosee Lake Bible Camp. Ken attended
Arcola Alliance Church and was involved with the youth program untill he left home in
1983. In 1986, Ken married his sweetheart, Beverly and they have 3 children Justin, Stacey and Deanna, one daughter in law Lucia, and 3 grandchildren, Victoria, Lucas and Tobias. Ken and Bev lived in Terrace BC from 1991-2001 attending Terrace Alliance Church, and Cochrane from 2002 until today. Over the years, Ken has been very involved in volunteering at kids camps. From 1992 to 2001, at Rough Acres Bible Camp, he helped build and maintain the camp as a volunteer. From 2005 until 2025, he has been on the maintenance team for a week at Camp Chamisall. Also from 2018 - 2024, he served as the Board Chair of Blue Bronna Wilderness Camp. Helping others in a supporting role to make sure children and adults in a camp setting take time and consider the opportunity to accept Jesus into their lives has been his passion. Ken and Bev have also had many opportunities to serve in Guatemala,
Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Columbia and Panama supporting local ministries on the
ground. Ken currently runs a Real Estate Team here in Cochrane with Royal LePage and
enjoys helping people with their Real Estate needs. Cochrane Alliance Church has been
their home since December 2001 where they have always been treated like family and
hope to extend that to all people who attend here.
