What I do at the church
Community and Connection is my area of Ministry. I get to oversee our Small Groups and support our SG leaders. I also come alongside our Hospitality Team who usher, greet, host the coffee bar and welcome new people in our midst. We love seeing people find a place where they belong and connect with others in meaningful ways.

A little about my family
I am married to Carlos and we have 2 young adult kids. Our daughter Maria is married to Quinn living in Calgary. Pete, our son lives in Victoria. We also have a big black lab named Duck. Occasionally we can be seen walking with Duck along the river path...one of our favorite places!
One thing most people don't know about me
I have some new hobbies that I am leaning into these days. Refinishing furniture is a new interest, sewing projects are a favorite 'go to' activity, and spin class is exhausting but fulfilling.
A few of my favourite things
Soft Ice Cream, Hot Dogs and Jujubes are among my favorite unhealthy foods. I like sunshine and hot weather. And, I like a few board games including Catan, Azul, Lost Cities (much to Carlos' dismay).
