“For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you” Isaiah 41:13

We are training and supporting volunteer peer mentors to walk alongside persons and families struggling with mental health needs due to or amplified by past or present trauma.

The Right Hand Support Program has developed a Community Peer Mentor Program that will train up volunteer Peer Mentors to support and walk beside people who often feel marginalized and are struggling with life’s challenges. The program trains and educates volunteers who would like to be the hands and feet of Christ but may feel inadequately equipped to deal with these challenges.  The Mentees are recommended from agencies and organizations in Cochrane and area.  Peer Mentors are matched with Mentees, and both are monitored, supported, and encouraged as they relate and grow together.  This is an exciting opportunity to reach out, and journey with those who often feel excluded, alone, and rejected by society.

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’“ Matthew 25:40
