Introducing our new Children's Pastor

We are pleased to introduce you to our new Pastor of Children's Ministry, Donna Hernandez! Donna will be joining us at the beginning of August. Here is a little about Donna and her family:

I am so excited to be joining Cochrane Alliance as the new Children’s Pastor. My husband is Carlos and we have two young adult children, Maria and Peter, who attend Ambrose University in Calgary. Carlos currently works in the hospitality industry as a manager at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald in Edmonton…soon to make a move to Fairmont Banff Springs.

I have been serving in Children’s Ministry for quite a number of years…most recently in Sherwood Park Alliance where I have had the privilege of ministering to kids/families and developing leaders. I am passionate about helping kids get to know Jesus and partnering with parents as spiritual influencers in the lives of their kids.

Carlos and I love long walks with our big black lab ‘Duck’ so we are really looking forward to exploring the hiking trails in and around the Cochrane area. We also enjoy travelling…in fact this spring we did a ‘trip of a lifetime’ to Europe with stops in France, Germany and England…it was awesome! I love the mountains…can’t wait to find a couple great places to take them in. See you all soon!
