WHO WILL PARTICIPATE?
All children (Age 2 to Grade 6) attending JAM Kids Ministry on Sundays.
WHAT IS THE PLAY ABOUT?
The play explores some of the gifts that seem really important to us at Christmas. The action takes place in a test lab where experts are pitching their latest and greatest gifts. As the story unfolds, the team discovers that the most meaningful, relevant, life-changing gift of all is Jesus! The play includes songs that our JAM kids will sing (with actions), 20 live actors (lab experts & nativity characters) and 10+ pre-recorded parts (scripture readers and commercials).
HOW CAN I HELP MY CHILD PREPARE?
Practice songs and actions for our Christmas Songs.

WHEN WILL THE KIDS BE PRACTICING?
We will be practicing our songs each week during JAM. Dress Rehearsal will be Thursday, December 10, 6:00-7:30pm. Actors will have additional practices.
PRODUCTION DAY
WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO WEAR?
All kids (Age 2 to Grade 6) are asked to wear festive, comfortable clothes (e.g. green/red/gold colours, Christmas theme, etc.). Costumes will be provided for all actors.
ANYTHING ELSE WE SHOULD BRING?
YES. All children are asked to find, wrap and bring an empty box that looks like a gift. It would be great to have all kinds of gift shapes and size so be creative. Please bring your wrapped gift to the church on December 6.
DO WE NEED TO ATTEND ALL SERVICES?
The actors will need to be at all three services: 8:30am, 10:15am and 12:00pm. We’d love for as many kids as possible to come to at least two of the services. We will provide snacks and activities between services.
WHAT TIME SHOULD WE BE AT THE CHURCH ON PRODUCTION DAY?
Please arrive 1/2 hour before the service.
HOW DO WE CHECK IN OUR KIDS?
Check in all kids (Preschool to Grade 6) as usual, then drop off in their respective classrooms (Grades 1-6 in Bow Room).
HOW DO WE CHECK OUT OUR KIDS?
Attending all services? Preschool/Kindergarten kids will return to their respective rooms after each production until parents pick them up after the third service. Grades 1-6 will go to the Bow Room between services.
Only one or two services? Check out/pick up kids from their classroom (Preschool/Kindergarten in their respective rooms, Grades 1- 6 in Bow Room).
WHO CAN WE INVITE?
All are welcome. We encourage you to invite friends & family to any service (8:30am & 12:00pm services will be less crowded) on December 13. Just be sure to come early to find a seat.
