A Christmas Birthday

Kids Christmas Production & Interactive Family Event
Sunday, December 11  |  9 & 11am

WHAT DOES AN EPIC CHRISTMAS BIRTHDAY LOOK LIKE?

This Christmas, we are celebrating Jesus’ birthday in the sanctuary with the whole family. We have a short Kids Production complete with the Christmas Story and a Birthday Song for Jesus, as well as a family ‘Birthday Cake’ decorating experience.

WHO WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN THE PRODUCTION?

All children attending onsite JAM Sunday School age 2 to Grade 5.

HOW CAN I HELP MY CHILD PREPARE FOR THE PRODUCTION?

Practice singing “A CHRISTMAS BIRTHDAY” and doing the actions.

WHEN WILL THE CHILDREN BE PRACTICING?

In October and November, the children will be practicing the song during JAM onsite Sunday School. We’re counting on your help practicing at home as well!

Dress Rehearsal is on Thursday, December 8th from 6-7:30 in the sanctuary.

WHO CAN WE INVITE TO THE PRODUCTION/EVENT?

All are welcome…grandmas, grandpas, cousins, neighbors!  JAM Kids will join adults around tables in the sanctuary. Fill your table with friends and family!!

DO WE NEED TO REGISTER TO BE A PART OF THE PRODUCTION/EVENT?

If you want to decorate a birthday cake with your family, please register below. It will help us to be well prepared with supplies for the celebration!  Gluten free available. NO CHARGE!

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO WEAR ON DECEMBER 11?

Preschoolers/Kindergarteners will have simple costumes to wear during the production. Everyone can dress in comfortable, casual clothes, preferably an ugly Christmas sweater for our fun photo booth!

DO WE NEED TO ATTEND BOTH SERVICES?

We’d love it if 9am kids could stay for the first 20 mins of the 11am service to do the production again in the second service. We’ll have the Creekside Room set up for mingling after the first service…you can visit and hang out in there until after the kids sing in the second service.

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?

Please arrive 15 minutes early for the service that you are registered in and find your table in the sanctuary.  Parents of preschoolers/kindergartners can pick up costumes in classrooms. Be ready when kids are called to the front to sing.
