Dear Cochrane Alliance Church family,

I would like to introduce you to Journey Canada. Journey Canada is a community-based, Christ-centered discipleship program that exists to help people find hope and live new lives through experiencing Jesus in their relationships, sexuality and identity. It is an introductory look at healing aimed at helping individuals understand the issues they will have to walk through in their journey, embrace the idea of process and move in the direction of where they can begin deeper healing work.

Journey Canada reaches out to hurting people.  The private struggles of people’s lives have been kept in the dark for far too long. These dark places have wreaked havoc, causing many men and woman in the church to despair and give up hope. That’s the reason Journey Canada exists – to help bring freedom to those who are addicted, abused and confused. Our desire is to see God’s people live the full and healthy lives He intended.

Journey 101 is a six-week program that involves times of teaching, stories and small groups, where leaders help participants identify their issues, look at some of the realities of the healing journey, recognize that Jesus and others walk with us, and understand that ultimately our journey enables us to know God and others in deeper ways.

Journey 101 is being offered at Rockpointe Church Bowridge Site (12 Bowridge Drive NW) starting May 2nd and runs concurrently for the five weeks following. You can find more information about the course and how you can register here. 

Please Note: “Journey Canada” is NOT the same organization as “The Journey” (VP3 Ministries) which we offer at Cochrane Alliance.
