Want to help put the finishing touches on shoebox gifts for children around the world? You can play a vital role in reaching boys and girls across the globe with the true meaning of Christmas—the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Millions of shoeboxes are collected during National Collection Week in November. Before these special gifts can bring hope and joy to children around the world, each one has to be carefully inspected and made ready for overseas shipment. Join us for an afternoon at the Operation Christmas Child Sorting Centre.

Date: December 1

Time: 1:30-4:30pm

Location: Operation Christmas Child Processing Centre, 20 Hopewell Way N.E., Calgary

Meet at the church at 12:30pm if you'd like to carpool.

Optional:  For those who are interested, we plan to stop at Swiss Chalet for dinner after sorting! If you plan to stop for dinner, please bring your vaccine passport.

Registration

Please register below by midnight on November 28. You will be required to complete a Short-Term Volunteer Release Form as well as a Health Screening Assessment. You may print and complete ahead of time. As an alternative, copies will be available at the church for those who are carpooling. The Sorting Centre requires all volunteers to wear masks.
